Celebrate NaNoWriMo with the League of Vermont Writers

National Novel Writing Month began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel in thirty days. Now, each year on November 1, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brand new novel. They enter the month as elementary school teachers, mechanics, or stay-at-home parents. They leave novelists.

Are you participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year?

If so, are you on track to hitting your monthly goal?

Please join the League of Vermont Writers for some writing sessions and a little inspiration (even if you’re not participating in NaNoWriMo, come to learn more and get some writing time in).

Here’s our list of 3 scheduled events:

  • Impromptu NaNo Check-In, Writing Session, and Open House on Thursday, November 12 from 7 – 8:30 pm ET.
  • NaNo Writing Fest and Check-In
on Thursday, November 19 from 7 – 8:30 pm ET.
  • NaNo Celebration & Wrap Party
on Thursday, December 3 from 7 – 8:30 pm ET.

All three are free, casual events. Just email the League organizers at lvw@leagueofvermontwriters.org and put “NANO SESSIONS” in the subject line, and we’ll send you the Google Meeting and call-in information.

We hope to see you there!
