Please join us for a poetry workshop.
1. Three poems (by three separate poets) will be workshopped by the group.
2. Epistolary poems are works of poetry that double as epistles, or letters to someone. We’ll explore examples taken from ancient literature through to today.
The voluntary take-home challenge: Compose a poem that doubles as a letter to someone or something.
3. If anyone did the take-home challenge from the last workshop, we’ll briefly share those with the group.
We’ll focus on specific elements of the craft and give honest responses to the work. All skill levels are welcome. Respect for each other is a must.
