Volunteer opportunities

Workshop scheduler: We have a volunteer opportunity opening up in January. This position is the workshop scheduler—the person who takes requests for and assigns workshop submission spots each month. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who prefers to volunteer from home on their own hours. It’s also a critical role to keep our workshops going so we hope you’ll consider stepping up! Please contact us for more information>

The following BWW members were published on the Flynn Center blog recently:

Matthew Goguen wrote this preview of Arlo Guthrie’s upcoming “50 Years of Alice’s Restaurant” performance.

Congratulations to Margaret Grant, who was recently named managing editor, projects & communications for Mud Season Review. Margaret has more than 25 years’ experience in non-profit administration, project management, supervision & training, and marketing and has been a dedicated fiction reader for Mud Season so we’re thrilled to have her in this new role.

Congratulations to Kerstin Lange, whose commentary “Becoming One Nation” was published on Vermont Public Radio this past week.

Thank you to Barbie AlsopKarin Ames, and Susan Parente for their work in posting and publicizing the monthly workshop schedule.

If you’ve recently been published or achieved a new success in your writing career, please let us know so we can share the news with the BWW community.
